This past week the light has begun to change, and there's a strong Autumnal feel in the skies! While we get visitors to Skye at all times of the year (Christmas Eve in the Square with excited visitors from abroad about to celebrate their first Scottish Christmas and Hogmanay is a particular joy!) the Summer holidaymakers are now drifting away for another year and 2014 is as yet a walk through an Island woodland full of crunchy leaves away! The mushrooms are poking their heads through the peaty soil to create a seasonal carpet out of the window beneath the worktable and it's officially the first day of fall in just over a week!
Fall is far from the dying of the year, it's full of so much vibrancy and these 6 Fall Pumpkins With Leaves & "Fallen Branch" represent so much of that & make us really look forward to the coming weeks!
