Raspberry Sponge Cake & The Northern Lights!

Amongst the new things added to the website this past week was this raspberry sponge cake! With lots of highly detailed/textured sponge, it seems to have been very popular on our new Instagram!

It's also been a fantastic week for the Northern Lights here on the Isle of Skye! We were treated to a spectacular display on Wednesday's a few photos! It's only September too, we haven't reached the dark winter nights yet so lots more to come!!

Summer 2014 may be almost upon us but travel backwards to discover what sweet treat was hidden inside school air raid shelters as Sadie's project series reaches World War II in the July issue of Dolls House & Miniature Scene magazine.
Below, the sweets feature with something that's not miniature but something that was part of everyone's War - a genuine Wartime Identity Card which belonged to Sadie's uncle and is now never far away since it came into her care some twenty years ago.
