It's hot, sunny and Summer, three things which people often don't automatically associate as going together here in the UK!! With temperatures reaching 32°C in places there's little doubting that the Gulf Stream is sending a non traditional British Summer our way just now!! It seems like the ideal time for Summer to reach the miniature world too with these ice cream cones and lollies (or popsicles if you're on the other side of the Atlantic!). There's something special about some of these ice cream cones though as they've been "dropped" and are "melting"! There's also an abandoned ice lolly which seems to be "melting" in the sunshine too! It's these tiny little details which really bring any miniature scene to life and the best bit is....unlike a real dropped ice cream there's no mess!!
