A couple of days now here in Scotland and the clocks go back an hour for the Winter but we couldn't resist going forward in time a bit with this Festive Preview! This Christmas Wreath Bread is the first of our Seasonal miniatures this year!

There's something incredibly evocative of Fall in the garden bonfire! The smell and sound of crackling wood just says This Time Of Year! Having never seen a miniature 1:12th scale bonfire before the challenge was

set! We hope you love the result with this wonderful Fall/Autumn Garden Bonfire as much as we do and with Guy Fawkes Night just a week or two away now here in the UK it's perfect timing!!

With now less than two weeks to go until Halloween the first snow of the season has reached the high tops of Skye's Cuillin mountains! The perfect time to accept an invitation to a Pumpkin Carving Party........

Basking In The Glow Of Miniatures!

The Aurora Borealis/Northern Lights visited the West Coast this week and being completely absorbed by so many wonderful miniature ideas at the moment the 1:12th scale world feels as alive as the skies! Working on some exciting commissions has meant some wee small hours of the morning when, as the skies of Scotland glowed and flickered, individual tiny pieces of "sugar" were being added to various delights!!

There was a report of the Northern Lights a few miles away in Staffin a little earlier tonight so, as late as it is, there might have to be a wee trip outside to see if anything is happening! The skies are clear so wish us luck!

In the meantime though we wanted to share these two new minis added to our Etsy store, a very special Blue Striped Mixing Bowl Full of Ingredients and this Mouthwatering Fruit Tart!

Cakes, Cakes, Cakes!

Cook has been busy baking! There's something about all the tiny details in a miniature cake that makes you smile and brings them to life! We've been so looking forward to sharing the most recent additions to our range of cake slices, Cranberry & Orange Cakes, Carrot Cakes & Chocolate & Coffee Cakes! The first two already have wonderful new homes and as October moves on into cosy nights and colder days we're almost certain everyone would like to climb into the miniature scene and tuck in!!

Because Pandoro's Aren't Just For Christmas!!

Inspired to create something really unusual for the Halloween and Thanksgiving celebratory miniature table, this Pandoro is something really special and we've been really excited to share it with everyone! It struck us that once the Festive foods start appearing in the shops there can't be many of us who make it all the way to Christmas Eve without indulging in a mince pie or two at the very least so why not have our very own version of a Seasonal favourite for Halloween or Thanksgiving?!!
