Looking out of the window right now the sky is a beautiful array of golds, blues, apricots, oranges and pinks. It's truly a Summer sunset! Feels almost as if we've skipped over Spring for a sneak preview of Summer such has been the weather these past days. The hills are a pattern of layers in the evening twilight and it certainly inspires the new seasons minis as we move forward through the year! It hardly seems the blink of an eye since we were showcasing our Festive miniatures and now, here we are, drinking in the clear Island air of warm sunny days!
Of course, Summer is, as yet, just an illusion provided by the weather and we aren't yet past Easter & we have all the fun that brings to enjoy! Here's a British Easter tradition that no Good Friday would be without, Hot Cross Buns! A spiced baked delight, the smell of which just simply says....Easter!!!
